How to sign up to wealthy affiliate 2018
As a blogger, a moment might come when you think you want to get serious about blogging and turn your passion into an online business, Wealthy Affiliate offers you one of the best Free training to get started.
might get the invitation by me or by one of the members of this great community, but you get this window (picture below) open on your computer and as a newbie you don’t know what steps you need to follow.
It’s easy to create your FREE account at Wealthy Affiliate and it will take only to type your e-mail, your name, your user name and choose a Password, then all you need to do is click on the green button … and your FREE account is ready!! (No credit card required)
A new universe is open to you to learn everything you need to turn your passion into an online business!
First, and before I keep explaining to you what steps to follow, I need to tell you that Wealthy Affiliate is not a place where you’ll be earning tons of money like magic!
It’s the place where you’ll learn everything you need to work on building up your own website that with time and good work will start making money for you.
But it will require from you:
- Daily work – most of the days you’ll need to work to learn and to create the best content for your website.
- Patience – A website created by you can turn into a wonderful online business that within time will make money for you, but it won’t happen the first week or month, some times it requires from 6 months to 2 years!
- Tenacity – There will be times that everything seems so slow and all the work you put on your website won’t work!, never get discouraged, keep at it, and it will become better.
Now, that I told you this, if you’re expecting your website will work like magic and it starts to make money the first week as some “money making gurus” on the internet have told you, I need to tell you that Wealthy Affiliate might not be for you!
So it’s better you don’t sign up to it.
But, after reading the last couple of paragraphs and you now get that Wealthy Affiliate is the best place on the internet to learn how to build up a website to start living from it, but it will require lots of good work, you can sign up for it and create your new account.
After you create your new FREE account, you’ll get a window like this one below.
Before you start going everywhere at Wealthy Affiliate to know how it works, take your time to create your Profile.
You can also join Wealthy Affiliate by clicking on the green button too.
1 Your User name will be there.
2 You can add your own picture so the rest of the members can see who you are, it’s always recommended adding a personal picture, by doing that it helps other members know you better and create trust in you, the same will happen with your online business.
When you add your picture to your website, it creates trust on your readers to know a real person is behind that online business, people love to talk and do business with real people, not with machines.
If you’re a shy person and you don’t want to share a picture of yourself, Wealthy Affiliate has covered you, you’ll find a picture of a cute kitty or a cute puppy picture you can add to your profile.
3 – Here you’ll get what type of membership you have, free membership or Premium membership.
4 – When you sign up to Wealthy Affiliate you’ll get your own profile page, your name or user name will go here.
5 – Write about you, this will be as your “About Me Page” to share with the community.
You can write here about why you sign up to WA, what do you expect from it, and what your website will be about.
Let the other members of this great community know why you’re here, what are your goals and dreams.
When other members can read why you’re here, they might connect with you and they will help you to grow and build up your website.
You can write a long description of yourself on your profile or just write one or two sentences to say hi, as you work at Wealthy Affiliate you might come back here and change your profile to let the other members get to know more about you.
You can change and add more to your profile anytime and as many times as you want to.
Let’s get to the training:
Now that you have created your free account and have written something about you on your profile, it’s time to start learning about how you can make money online too.
I’m sharing a photo from my account, when you get your account, you all need to do is to follow these same steps but on your own account.
1 – Follow the arrow with number 1 and click there, a new small window will open for you.
2 – Click on the arrow number 2, Online Entrepreneur Certification.
A new window will open for you, as a free member you’ll get the 10 lessons FREE course.
3 – Click on the arrow number 3.

Lesson 1 – Kyle (one of the owners of Wealthy Affiliate) will welcome you and will give you a brief explanation to get used to Wealthy Affiliate.
Lesson 2 – Understanding how to make money online – well, I think this is important for you and for anyone who is interested to learn how to make money online.
Kyle will explain to you, how you can also start making money online with a website and how does it work.
Lesson 3 – Choose a Niche – When a person wants to start blogging to make money online, most of us believe it’s all about getting a blog and start writing, Kyle will explain to you why it is important to choose a niche and how a niche will help you to keep focused on your topic while blogging.
Writing content for a niche blog is easier that writing about everything and expecting someone will see your blog and visit it … one day.
Learn how to be focused and write content for people who are already interested on what you share and your product or service.
Lesson 4 – Building your own niche website – All you need to do is follow the step by steps from Kyle and you’ll get your new website ready to add some content.
Lesson 5 and 6– Setting Up Your Website – there’re a few steps to set up a website to be ready to be on the Internet, a few steps to follow that most of the bloggers will keep as their big secret and they will tell you, you need to sign up for a paid online course where they will let you know how to set up everything for your website, :

It’s good to hear from a Premium member who is happy about the training and your work on your own website, and I agree with you Wealthy Affiliate is honest to say to new members and to everyone “you need to work building your website in order to make money from it”, it takes time and it requires to learn the how to, but it’s possible to achieve it.
I’m also happy about the work I’ve been doing on my website and on my niche site, I’ve started to make some money from it, not yet enough to make a full income from it, but every day it goes better.
I also feel myself more confident about how to build up a website and an online business to start giving some tips and advises to some friends who are currently working on their own websites.
I think and believe Wealthy Affiliate its one of the best places on the internet to learn everything a blogger or an entrepreneur about online business.

I have been with WA for about two years now and I have no regrets. As it says in the article, you will need to spend a lot of time creating content for your website and yes, it will be a lot of work! But in my experience it is so worth the time and effort.
