Most of the mentors will tell you to write longer post to help your site to be ranked on the first places on Google, the tendecy is to write post of 2000 words and more.
But if you write a 1000 words post this will be ok and as you get comments on it this post will get longer and it will rank better.
Be sure to answer every comment you get to help your readers to get the information they’re looking for. On the comments you can also add some internal links to help them to find the information they are looking for.

thanks for these tips. It’s easy writing an article but the difference between ranking and not being seen is the seo components that you have mentioned here. I always get the main ones in, such as: meta title and description, alt description for images, getting comments and writing long articles.
However some posts will naturally do better than others purely because of the keyword your targeting.
